A report is only as good as the data behind it, and that data can live in more than one place. The ERP has fixed reports, the CRM has its own, and the numbers leadership actually asks for need both, plus a spreadsheet someone maintains by hand.
IKRC builds the layer underneath: queries, scheduled loads and reporting tables that combine in-house databases, cloud applications and flat files into one source. On top of that we build dashboards, operational screens or scheduled exports, depending on who reads the report and how often they need it.
How fresh the numbers are
Refresh frequency can be limited by the reporting tool's license. A Power BI semantic model on shared capacity (Pro) can have up to 8 scheduled refreshes a day, and a scheduled refresh there has to finish within two hours. Premium, Premium Per User and Fabric capacity allow up to 48. If a team wants numbers that are 15 minutes old, that affects licensing and data model design before anyone draws a chart, and a refresh schedule alone does not guarantee it: source loads and refresh duration count too. Options include DirectQuery or an operational screen that reads the database directly.
